Erin Feinblatt photographs landscape as refuge. This image, shot near his childhood home at the edge of the San Fernando Valley, captures a single oak on an open hillside—the tree weathered and deliberate, the sky moving with clouds.
The photograph holds a specific quality of light and air. December in Southern California offers both—cool air, warm sun, a clarity that comes rarely. Feinblatt waited for the clouds to settle into formation, for the moment when the tree and sky held equal weight. The result is a portrait of place and time, spare and honest.
Every print is professionally produced and custom framed, arriving ready to hang. Archival photo paper preserves the color range from the pale grass and golden tree to the deep blue sky and soft white clouds.
