Andrew Faulk

Tennessee-born and Tokyo-based, Andrew Faulk came to photography the way most compelling careers begin — by accident. A year abroad became seventeen, and the world's most electric cities became his working environment. A decade in Tokyo, and he photographs it like he just arrived.

The saturated geometry of a Hoi An doorway, monks in motion on a rain-wet street, a New England lighthouse doubled in still water. Color or black and white, Asia or the Atlantic coast — the eye is consistent. Faulk finds the frame that makes a place feel known rather than visited.

His client list spans Condé Nast Traveler to Grand Seiko, Four Seasons to the Financial Times — work that ranges as widely as the photographer himself.

Andrew Faulk's photography prints are available through Distant Dawn.
