Ben Girardi is a photographer living in the mountains of Pemberton, British Columbia, Canada. Girardi was raised in upstate New York where he was introduced to snowboarding and photography at a young age. Instantly obsessed with both he knew he wanted to pursue a career that involved these. After receiving a degree from RIT he moved west to bigger mountains, eventually immigrating to, and becoming a Canadian citizen. 

Glacial lakes, fog-threaded forests, the particular stillness of a mountain before the light changes. Most landscape photographers want you to feel small. Girardi's work invites you to feel present.
