Zack Wittman
Zack Wittman is a documentary and editorial photographer based in Tampa Bay, with bylines at the New York Times, Time, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the Guardian, and ProPublica. His personal work takes him to the slower corners of this planet — harbor towns, market streets, sun-bleached landscapes — photographed with the same attentive eye he brings to assignment work.
Wittman finds the picture that makes a place feel worth returning to. A fishing boat reflected in harbor water, a cypress tree standing alone in a dry field, a coastal town caught in full summer light. Work that makes you want to slow down and look twice.
